The record it set at the Vikersund Skifying Slope, Vikersund, Norway on 21 February 2012 with the speed reaching 128.7 km/h (79.97 mph). He used head Caddy park skis, Leki Rodeo poles and his own brand of "Anders Backe Signature Line" clothing from Bergans of Norway.
