The current world's longest domestic cat is Stewie, a five years old feline from Nevada, United States.



The full name of Stewie is Mymains Stewart Gilligan, measures an incredible 48.5 inches (123.19 centimeters) when fully strength out. His owner Robin Hendrickson decided to enter Stewie for the record after many friends of her say it was a ridiculous length for a cat.

Stewie is one of the Maine Coon variety and is known as "the gentle giants" of the cat world.
